Ethereum 2.0 Development Roadmap
Phase 0: Proof of Stake (PoS) Rollout
Christine Kim: “Danny, thanks for meeting with me today. I’d like to discuss the Ethereum 2.0 development roadmap, starting with Phase 0.” Danny Ryan: “Of course, Christine. I’m excited to share our progress.” Will Foxley: “I’ll start by saying that Phase 0 is a crucial step towards the Ethereum 2.0 mainnet. We’ve made significant advancements in PoS, and it’s essential to get it right.”
Beacon Chain Rollout
Christine Kim: “That’s correct. The Beacon Chain is a critical component of Phase 0. How’s the progress looking?” Danny Ryan: “We’ve made excellent progress. Our team has developed a robust Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) protocol, and we’re confident that it will enable the Beacon Chain to handle the high-throughput requirements of the Ethereum 2.0 mainnet.” Will Foxley: “I’d like to highlight that our team has also made significant strides in optimizing the Beacon Chain’s performance. We’ve implemented a novel consensus algorithm that will allow for faster transaction processing times.”
