Stellar's XLM crypto has dropped 16% over the past month and 3.2% over the past week. The altcoin has been making lower highs on the price charts since July 2025, with a brief surge in late May reaching a local high of $0.297. However, the XLM crypto has since sunk back into a bearish phase. According to CryptoQuant's spot CVD metric, aggressive sellers have dominated the spot market since June, indicating further losses for holders. The Stellar-DTCC partnership news in late May sparked a strong upward move, but it was not sustained, with prices falling below the 78.6% retracement level at $0.173.
Key Indicators
The CMF on the daily timeframe has been steadily below -0.05 in August, reflecting sizeable capital flow out of the market. The MFI has been hovering around 20, showing extreme downward momentum and lack of buying pressure. The CMF on the 4-hour chart was also below -0.05, with the XLM crypto testing the $0.16 supply zone and facing rejection. A price bounce to $0.161-$0.164 would offer an ideal selling opportunity, but due to a lack of buying pressure, further downside appears more likely. A breakdown below $0.155 would also offer a selling opportunity.
