Fractile, a British startup developing chips for artificial intelligence applications, is in advanced talks to raise funds at a pre-money valuation of $6.5 billion, according to reporting from Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. The company expects to bring in about $600 million in the round, which includes some money invested at a lower valuation. \n\n> The British startup raised a $220 million financing round in May, led by venture firms Accel, Founders Fund and Factorial Funds. That investment gave Fractile a valuation of around $1 billion. \n\n> Fractile has reached an initial deal to sell roughly $250 million of its chips to Anthropic PBC, with the intention to expand that contract in the future, according to people familiar with the efforts.
