"" Latour Sees 3% Industrial Sales Growth Amid Market Recovery
Swedish investment and industrial group Latour reported a 3% year-over-year increase in second-quarter industrial sales, reaching SEK 7.23 billion, as the company navigates a gradually improving market environment.
The company's industrial order intake climbed 11% compared to the same period last year, with growth reaching 13% on a constant currency basis. Latour's Q2 industrial orders totaled SEK 7.81 billion, while the industrial EBIT margin stood at 13.8%.
Most of Latour's industrial businesses experienced solid demand during the second quarter, with a gradual market recovery taking hold. The company completed five acquisitions in the second quarter, adding to deals made in the first quarter, which collectively contributed SEK 700 million in net annualized acquired growth.
Construction market trends varied across segments, with subdued residential construction in parts of Europe balanced by resilient demand in refurbishment and industrial infrastructure projects.
Latour's strong order book should support continued net sales growth in upcoming quarters. The company noted that market conditions are progressively improving but remain mixed across different sectors and regions.
The company expects minimal financial impact from geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East.
