Your Bourse has opened its Trade Server to AI assistants, allowing broker staff to query live data and initiate permitted hedges or position closures. The connection, called Model Context Protocol (MCP) for Trade Server, enables account checks, custom reporting, and trade instructions in the same conversation. This integration is available to brokers already running the company's backend.
Key Features
The MCP connects AI applications to external data and software tools, allowing brokers to connect compatible assistants using existing Trade Server credentials. Broker employees can ask questions or issue instructions in plain language, such as requesting total EUR/USD exposure or initiating a hedge. The connection also enables searching a trading journal when a client disputes an execution.
Security and Permissions
The MCP inherits the permissions attached to the user's Trade Server credentials, ensuring that connected assistants only see the data and functions already available to that employee. For instructions affecting positions or funds, the assistant returns a preview, and execution follows only after a person approves the request.
Industry Context
Several other companies, including Spotware, ThinkMarkets, and Capital.com, have also launched MCP-enabled products in recent months. Your Bourse's release spans both sides of the split, allowing broker employees to work with operational data and initiate actions, while also enabling Trade Server clients to offer MCP-enabled access to their own traders for API tools or AI-powered strategies.
