Streamex Corp reported its first revenue in company history in the second quarter of 2026, but the debut fell short of Wall Street’s expectations. The company posted a loss of 8 cents a share, wider than the 2-cent loss analysts had expected, while revenue came in at $300,000 versus a forecast of $400,000.
Q2 Financials
The company’s net loss fell to $14.6 million from $46.7 million, while loss from operations improved to $15.2 million from $35.7 million. Streamex said the improvement came mainly from lower stock-based compensation, consulting costs and platform development spending.
GLDY Performance
The company’s tokenized gold product, GLDY, has so far tracked gold closely and paid four distributions in physical gold. External ownership of the product rose to 9% by the end of the quarter, while assets under management totaled 3,111 ounces.
Future Plans
Streamex is preparing to launch GLDC, a permissionless gold token backed by yield-bearing assets, with initial liquidity bootstrapping expected in the third quarter. The company also pushed back its silver product launch to 2027.
Management Comments
Chief Executive Henry McPhie said the company had moved from proof of concept to building a distribution network around the product. Chief Financial Officer Christine Plummer said the company is focused on long-term economics rather than short-term runway concerns.
