Litecoin (LTC) is a decentralized global payment network designed for fast and easy payments. It is one of the oldest, most popular, and stable cryptocurrencies globally.

How does it work?

Litecoin allows users to make fast and affordable transactions worldwide. Created in 2011 by Charlie Lee, it aims to improve speed, scalability, and centralization issues faced by Bitcoin. Litecoin operates similarly to Bitcoin, using Proof of Work (PoW) as its consensus method, but with some key differences.

What makes it unique?

Litecoin excels in speed and transaction processing, making it a practical and scalable transaction platform. It has a maximum supply of 84 million LTC, with a predictable, limited supply making it popular among traders. Litecoin’s average block time is 2.5 minutes, about four times faster than Bitcoin, thanks to the Scrypt hashing algorithm.

Launched in 2011, Litecoin has
