Iran's top negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the US fulfills the conditions of an interim deal signed in June. These conditions include lifting the blockade of Iranian ports, oil sanctions, and releasing Tehran's frozen assets.
Interim Deal Conditions
According to Qalibaf, the US must also end threats and military operations on all fronts.
Diplomatic Efforts
A senior Iranian official said Iran will shift to a 'fully offensive' posture due to stalled diplomatic efforts for a permanent conflict resolution.
