What is Zebec Network (ZBCN)?

Zebec Network is a pioneering blockchain infrastructure project designed to transform how money moves. Unlike traditional systems that rely on discrete, one-off transactions, Zebec enables real-time financial flows. By automating continuous payments—such as per-second salary streaming or recurring subscription models—Zebec bridges the gap between Web3 innovation and practical, everyday financial utility.

How does it work?

The core of the Zebec Network resides in its use of specialized smart contracts. These contracts establish a “stream” of funds that flows automatically between parties, provided specific conditions are met. If a service is terminated or a contract concludes, the payment stream stops immediately, eliminating the need for manual intervention or delayed settlements.

Built primarily on the Solana blockchain, the protocol leverages high throughput and minimal transaction costs to handle micro-payments at scale. The ZBCN token serves as the economic backbone of this ecosystem, supporting network governance, operations, and infrastructure incentives rather than acting as a simple payment medium for the streams themselves.

What makes it unique?

Zebec distinguishes itself through its focus on functional utility over speculation. Key features include:

  • Continuous Settlement: Removes the friction of waiting for transaction confirmations or batch processing.
  • Programmable Money: Smart contracts allow for dynamic payment triggers, making it ideal for payroll, recurring billing, and automated escrow.
  • Multichain Scalability: While rooted in Solana for efficiency, the network is designed for broad interoperability, ensuring it can scale as Web3 financial adoption grows.

Future Outlook (2024 and Beyond)

The year 2024 marked a significant milestone for the project with the migration from the original ZBC token to the new ZBCN token at a 1:10 ratio. This transition, accompanied by the burning of legacy tokens, reflects the project’s commitment to refining its economic model for long-term sustainability. As the team, led by co-founder Sam Thapaliya, continues to build out its suite of financial applications, Zebec is positioning itself as a vital layer of the decentralized finance (DeFi) stack, focusing on seamless integration with both Web3 and traditional legacy payment systems.
