What is WOO?

WOO is a deep liquidity network designed to connect traders, exchanges, institutions, and DeFi platforms. Founded by Wall Street veterans and Carnegie Mellon alumni—including co-founder Jack Tan—the project aims to democratize access to institutional-grade liquidity and professional trading tools.

How does it work?

The ecosystem operates through two primary pillars:

  • WOO X: A centralized exchange (CEX) catering to professional traders with zero-fee structures and high-depth order books.
  • WOOFi: A decentralized exchange (DEX) utilizing Synthetic Proactive Market Making (sPMM) to simulate traditional order book mechanics, offering tighter spreads and superior capital efficiency compared to standard Automated Market Makers (AMMs).

What makes WOO unique?

WOO stands out through its Synthetic Proactive Market Making (sPMM) technology, which minimizes slippage and optimizes price execution. By aggregating liquidity from top-tier providers, the network ensures that both retail and institutional users can access thin-spread trades. Additionally, WOO Ventures invests in early-stage blockchain projects, redistributing half of the generated profits back to WOO token holders.

The WOO Token and Future Outlook

Launched to serve as the backbone of the ecosystem, the WOO token provides multiple utility functions:

  • Staking: Users stake WOO to earn rewards and access platform perks.
  • Trading Discounts: Holders benefit from reduced or zero fees on WOO X.
  • Governance: Token holders participate in decentralized decision-making processes.

With a maximum supply of 3 billion tokens—and a deflationary mechanism where 50% of the supply is gradually burned—the project maintains a long-term focus on value retention. As the DeFi landscape matures, WOO continues to bridge the gap between CeFi efficiency and DeFi accessibility.
