Record Revenue and Profitability Gains
PFISTERER Holding SE presented its Q2 and half-year 2026 results on August 19, 2026, showcasing record quarterly revenue and significant profitability gains amid strong demand for electrical connection and insulation solutions. The company reported second-quarter revenue of EUR 129.8 million, marking a 14.4% year-over-year increase and the highest quarterly figure in company history.
Strong Operational Momentum
PFISTERER’s second-quarter performance demonstrated strong operational momentum across multiple metrics. Revenue growth of 14.4% was accompanied by an even more impressive 33.4% increase in adjusted EBITDA to EUR 24.7 million, reflecting improved operating leverage. The adjusted EBITDA margin expanded 2.7 percentage points year-over-year to reach 19.0%.
Diversified Revenue Streams
The company’s diversified market exposure across voltage levels and end markets contributed to its strong financial performance. PFISTERER serves 13 distinct market segments spanning offshore wind, subsea cable, solar energy, nuclear energy, underground cable, onshore wind, rail & mobility, data centers, power distribution, substations, overhead lines, repair & emergency solutions, and safety equipment.
Regional Performance
Regional performance showed divergent trends. Europe & Africa, representing 55% of first-half revenue, delivered the strongest quarterly revenue performance and led order book growth with a 9% year-over-year increase. The Middle East & India region, accounting for 25% of revenue, saw order intake moderate in overhead lines but maintained strong order book growth of 6%, with HVA overcompensating for OHL softness. Americas revenue represented 14% of the total, with both order intake and order book declining due to lower demand in Argentina for components and HVA.
Strong Order Book and Gross Margin Performance
The order book reached a record EUR 340.3 million at quarter-end, up 8.9% year-over-year, providing visibility for continued revenue growth. Gross margin performance remained robust at 40.4% in Q2 2026, marking the fourth consecutive quarter above the 40% threshold. While this represented a decline from 42.3% in the prior-year quarter, management attributed the compression to product mix effects, particularly a lower proportion of high-margin cable connectors.
