The Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) has recorded a daily net capital inflow of $16.15 million, resulting in the purchase of 250 BTC on the spot market. The fund's total holdings have increased to 36,868 BTC, with net assets reaching $2.38 billion. Bitwise's total assets under management have exceeded $15 billion. According to CEO Hunter Horsley, the company is 'delighted to see investors buying more Bitcoin.' However, Horsley also reminded investors of the risks associated with the fund, providing a link to the official prospectus.
Market Context
The capital inflow into BITB comes amid the recent closure of smaller competing products, with investors moving their money into large, regulated funds. This momentum has contributed to a broader market resurgence, with total daily net inflows across all U.S. spot ETFs reaching $189.30 million. Other notable funds, such as BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC, have also seen significant net inflows.
